Independent Survey Rates FlowBiz as a Spectacular SuccessMarch 2008 A recently released report conducted by an independent researcher from Rosy Buchanan and Associates commissioned by Protect highlights the gains in productivity that deploying a FlowBiz Technology solution can bring. Pat Power, company secretary of Protect has kindly allowed the publication of the following information after 12 months deployment of their Protect Severance Management System. Results of the research include: Many employer members enjoying both the Kiosk and eLockBox software update Kiosk as the same time as updating payroll and superannuation records, thus negating the time consuming need for a bulk manual reconciliation at month’s end.
Feedback provided by employer member staff members has indicated that the time associated with delivering monthly contribution payments to Protect has spectacularly reduced because the number of tasks involved with finalizing payment is reduced from approximately 5 time consuming steps down to approximately 2 time efficient steps. In the case of large employer members, staff have provided information that using the software had reduced their task time from, on average, 3.5 hours to 45 minutes per month. Further, there is no extra need to post a return to the fund administrator for approval, as this is also approved electronically. In the case of small businesses ( those with 1 or 2 employees with no workplace changes) feedback indicates that the whole Kiosk transaction took, on average, less than 3 (three) minutes to finalise.
